Finally, following are some useful tips that might come handy:
Before the Exam
1. Use sample papers to test yourself and spot your weak spots
2. Review old exam papers. Get to know the format, types of questions and scope of topics covered
3. Practice answering exam questions within the time limits
4. Get some rest before the exam
5. Allow plenty of time to get to the Exam Centre
During the Exam
1. Get the easy questions ready so that you can focus on the harder ones
2. Follow your instinct in tricky questions
3. In a multiple choice section answer, think of what your answer would be if there was not multiple choice option and then check if the answer you have in mind appears on the paper
4. Follow a strict timeframe and use your time efficiently
5. Check the spelling and punctuation after writing your composition. Your Examiner should not have to guess what you are trying to say
6. When you finish the exam, check carefully all your answers
7. Don’t panic!
