ISO 10000 series was developed in the scope of “QMS supporting standards”. The combination of ISO 10005 and ISO 10013 provides guidelines relating to quality planning, implementing and providing feedback, as well as developing and maintaining quality manuals systems.
ISO 10005:2005 provides guidelines for the development, review, acceptance, application and revision of quality plans. It is applicable whether or not the organization has a management system in conformity with ISO 9001. It is applicable to quality plans for a process, product, project or contract, any product category (hardware, software, processed materials and services) and any industry. It is focused primarily on product realization and is not a guide to organizational quality management system planning.
ISO 10013:2001 provides guidelines for the development, preparation and control of quality manuals tailored to the specific needs of the user.
