PEOPLECERT’s Joep van Nieuwstadt speaks at the 22nd IFIP World Computer Congress 2012


Joep van Nieuwstadt, Executive Board member of PEOPLECERT,(www.peoplecert.org), will participate at the 22nd IFIP World Computer Congress that will be held in Amsterdam, on 24-26 September 2012. Organized by the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP), the IFIP World Computer Congress is an annual event where the ICT community gets together for sharing experience, discussing challenges and opportunities, contributing to, and often leading progress in the state-of-the art knowledge and practice.

Joep van Nieuwstadt will be part of a distinguished panel of speakers focusing on ‘The ICT workplace in 2020’, covering key topics including the legal and statutory framework needed for the ICT profession, looking at learnings from the evolution of the Medical, Legal, Engineering and Accounting professions and discussing whether ICT workers developing Critical Infrastructure Systems should be regulated.
