December 2013 – PEOPLECERT has just been certified with the ISO/IEC 23988:2007 for the use of IT in the delivery of assessments, adding to the long list of credentials the global certification body already has in place, as part of its ‘Commitment to Quality’ strategy.
ISO/IEC 23988:2007 provides a means of showing that the delivery and scoring of the assessment are fair and do not disadvantage some groups of candidates. It also verifies a summative assessment has been conducted under secure conditions and that the validity of the assessment is not compromised by IT delivery.
PEOPLECERT’s ‘Commitment to Quality’ strategy is based on the credentials it has achieved over the years and includes initiatives, services and solutions it will be introducing, all aiming to ensure high quality standards on day to day service delivery basis. ‘Commitment to Quality’ is an integral part of the organisation’s 3-fold business strategy for 2014: Growth – Innovation – Quality.
PEOPLECERT’s credentials include:
- ISO 17024 Accredited (since 2006)
- Certified by Lloyds Register with:
- ISO 9001 for Quality Management (since 2003)
- ISO 10002 for Customer Satisfaction & Complaints Handling (since 2006)
- ISO 14001 for Environmental Management (since 2006)

- ISO 23988 for the use of IT in the delivery of assessments
‘Quality is at the heart of everything we do. And given the new environment and the new Best Management Practice certifications we will be delivering in 2014, it is key that such standards are maintained, monitored, worked on a daily basis and communicated to our partners. So that they know how much we value them and would go the extra mile to prove it to them’, says Rea Theleriti, PEOPLECERT’s Quality & Assessment Manager.
