February 2014 – PEOPLECERT has signed an exclusive agreement with the Global Certification Institute (GCI) (www.gciexams.com) for the delivery of the Global Best Practice portfolio in Oceania, including ITIL, PRINCE2, MSP, M_o_R, P3M3, P3O, MoP and MoV. This move aims to further strengthen PEOPLECERT’s global presence, through GCI’s local expertise and network in the region.
Based in Melbourne, Australia and with offices in Sydney and Singapore, GCI is one of the leading organisations in Oceania and the APAC region, offering a wide portfolio of professional certification and examination services to leading organisations.
GCI will operate as PEOPLECERT’s ‘Licenced Operational Hub’ and will initially deliver the Global Best Practice (GBP) portfolio of products for which PEOPLECERT has been appointed as an Examination Institute by AXELOS (the official Scheme Accreditor).
The provision of these services by GCI will include coordinating the accreditation of training organisations, trainers and course materials using assessors approved by PEOPLECERT, supporting Accredited Training Organisations and conducting examinations and distributing certificates on behalf of PEOPLECERT.
The two organisations will also work on expanding their partnership with additional global certifications offered by PEOPLECERT.
