PEOPLECERT Group (www.peoplecert.org) has received the prestigious Committed to Excellence certification by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). The organisation received the certification in a ceremony that took place in Athens earlier this week, organised by the Hellenic Management Association, the Greek representative of EFQM.
The ‘Committed to Excellence’ scheme is based on the ‘EFQM Excellence Model’ that aims to encourage businesses to conduct performance assessment and measure progress in areas such as strategic planning, leadership, people, customers, key results and others.
‘This certification reflects PEOPLECERT’s commitment to achieve the highest level of business excellence, in line with our vision to operate with business ethos, integrity and a strong commitment to the organisation’s and our people’s growth. Our leadership, strategic focus, people, operational effectiveness and strict adherence to the highest service standards have earned PEOPLECERT this international distinction, however, the quest for excellence is for us a continuous journey, Constantinos Kesentes, PEOPLECERT’s Group General Manager said.
The EFQM Excellence Model comprises nine main criteria and 32 sub-criteria addressing all areas necessary to conduct successful and sustainable business. Organisations applying for EFQM awards need to demonstrate considerable progress in key areas to a team of certified assessors assigned by EFQM.
