Petros joined PeopleCert in 2018, overseeing the group’s investments and acquisition growth strategies. He brings more than 18 years of significant and international experience in senior investment, strategic and corporate development roles. Previously he was Group Director, Investments and Corporate Development for DEMCO Group, one of the largest investment holding companies and media groups in Greece.
Prior to DEMCO, Petros was Fund Manager at Piraeus Bank, where he co-led the establishment of the private equity and venture capital group, launched 4 private equity and venture capital funds and developed the group’s Venture Capital investment strategy. Petros joined Piraeus Bank from Prufrock Investments, a Private Equity fund (JV between MGPA -now Blackrock- and Europa Capital) specializing in real estate investments and Leveraged Buyout transactions, where he led the Investment Management division and started his career in EY’s Transaction Advisory Services with an M&A and Financial Due Diligence focus.
Petros holds a BA in Economics & Marketing and a MSc in International Finance, both from University of Wales, an Executive Education Certificate in Negotiation from Harvard Business School and is certified as International Mergers & Acquisitions Expert (IM&A) from the Institute of Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances (IMAA).
