How do I Book my exam through PASSPORT? (Passport)
To book an exam, your PASSPORT account must have been set up and the following information should have already been included in PASSPORT:
- Exam Venue details. To add a new venue check Section 5 in this document.
You can hover-over any venue to view its exact location, making it easier to select the venue you need. - Exam room details (to add a new room check Section 5 in this document).
- Exam Proctor (Invigilator) details (to add a new Invigilator check Section 6 in this document).
- Trainer details (not applicable to AEOs). These should have been added by PeopleCert. If you need any help, contact the PeopleCert Customer Support team.
Step 1: Click on the Online menu, then click on Book Exams. Booked exams will appear on a list.
Step 2: Click on Add New on the lower left side of the screen, to open a new exam booking form. Alternatively, you can click on an exam and then on Duplicate Exam to open a similar booking form with some fields already filled.
Step 3: Complete the exam booking form. Please note that only the fields in bold are mandatory.
At this point, you can select the Take2 Re-sit Exam Option for an exam session by checking the relevant field (field will be displayed only if the selected module supports this service). The service will apply for all candidates registered to the session. If the field is not checked, the service can be added to each candidate, after registration. You can add it through Candidates’ Take2 list, while candidates will have the option to purchase the add-on service themselves through candidate area.
You can add multiple exam sessions using one of the following buttons:
- Add Exam Session button can be found below the existing sessions. By clicking on it, a new session is added below the existing ones.
- Duplicate Session button can be found above each session. By clicking on it, a new session is added below the existing one containing the duplicated information except for Exam Date, Start Time and Candidate List.
Note that the Candidate List (accessed through Create/Update email list button) is not duplicated in this case. - Duplicate Session with Candidate List button can be found above each session. By clicking on it, a new session is added below the existing one containing the duplicated information except for Exam Date and Start Time.

Step 4: Click on Save at the bottom left of the screen.
Step 5: Automatic confirmation e-mails will be sent to the Advanced TC Manager, the TC Manager and the proctor (invigilator), with details of the exam. All exams added by a TC Manager will remain pending until the Advanced TC Manager approves them.
NOTE: For further details on how to register candidates, please refer to section 7.
Important points
- If the invigilation option is set to TEST CENTRE, the system validates the exam date against the 2 business days’ rule that applies to an exam order.
- If the invigilation option is set to PeopleCert, the system validates the exam date against the 10 business days’ rule that applies to a new exam order.
- If the Exam Material Distribution is set to Courier to Other Address or Courier to Venue Address the system validates the exam date against the 7 business days rule.
How do I modify my exam through PASSPORT?
Step 1: Click on the Online menu, then click on Book Exams from the top menu. All the exams booked will appear on a list.
Step 2: Double click on the Exam record you want to edit. You can use the search function by clicking on bottom left corner of your screen and apply the appropriate filters.
