How do I add a new venue and room into PASSPORT?
Please note that you can also add a new venue and a room through the Exam booking form. Check section “A quick Guide to the Exam Booking form” for details on how to.
Step 1: Click on the Test Centres menu and then click on Venues. All registered venues will appear on a list.
Click on Add new at the bottom left of the screen.
Step 2: A new form opens, in which you need to add the Venue details. Please note that the time zone entered will be the default time zone for all the exam bookings you order for this venue.
Step 3: Each Venue must have registered Rooms. To add a new room, click on the Test Centres menu and then click on Rooms. Rooms need to be linked to a specific Venue.
Step 4: Click on Add New at the bottom of the screen.
Step 5: A new form opens, in which you need to add the room details. Only fields in bold are mandatory.
Please note that each room should support the appropriate exam type (web based or paper based).
Step 6: Click Save.
Step 7: The new Venue and Room(s) will then appear in the respective drop-down menus of the exam booking form.
