Lean IT Foundation helps IT organisations to ensure that they provide their customers with the best possible services. Through understanding customer value, the processes that deliver this value, the way to manage performance and to organise, as well as the required attitude and behaviour, IT organisations are helped to develop a continuous improvement mind-set. PeopleCert Lean IT Kaizen

Kaizen is the Japanese word for continuous improvement using small incremental changes. It translates as change for the better. Kai means change, Zen means for the better. Kaizen is an approach for solving problems and forms the basis of incremental continual improvement in organizations. A problem is a difficulty that has to be resolved or dealt with. When applied to the workplace, Kaizen means continuous improvement involving everyone, managers and junior professionals alike, every day and everywhere, providing structure to process improvement.

Lean IT Leadership

Lean IT Leadership builds on the basic knowledge acquired through the Lean IT Foundation. Lean IT Leadership focuses on ensuring that people fulfilling a leadership role within a Lean IT organization know what they need to do to help to develop it to a Lean IT organization. The role may be carried out in a formal or informal capacity. People following the Lean IT Leadership curriculum can benefit substantially through an initial understanding of the Lean IT Kaizen role. One of the core tasks of Lean IT Leadership is driving and teaching continuous improvement, and the relevant tools are discussed in detail in the Lean IT Kaizen.

Are there any pre-requisites for the PeopleCert Lean IT certification?

There are no pre-requisites for the Foundation level. However, candidates must achieve a pass at the Foundation level before going for the Kaizen or Leadership ones.

How can I train for the PeopleCert Lean IT certification?

Training for Lean IT is available through the network of Accredited Training Organisations (ATOs), who are training organisations of high quality, assessed and certified by PeopleCert.

What is the available type of exam which is offered the PeopleCert Lean IT?

All PeopleCert Lean IT exams are available online only.

How long does the exam take?

PeopleCert Lean IT exams are available in a variety of languages. Please check each module separately.

Are the exam questions multiple choice, essay style or both?

All questions are multiple choice.

What is the pass mark for the Lean IT examination?

Candidates must achieve a pass rate of 65%.

When will I receive the mark from my exam?

The exam’s results are available immediately after the exam has finished and are subject to final verification from PeopleCert.

How long is the PeopleCert Lean IT certification valid for?

The certification is valid for life, with no expiry date or requirement for re-certification applicable. 

What is the digital badge and how can I access my digital badge and/or my certificate?

Digital badges allow you to easily showcase your achievements online. When you pass an exam - you'll instantly have the option to claim a digital badge for your new certificate.
Your badge can be embedded on an email signature, website, social media or digital CV and it allows for employers, customers and clients to easily view and verify your credentials and skills, through a simple click!
You can easily access your digital certificates and badges via PeopleCert Passport.
 

How does my organisation become a Lean IT Accredited Training Organization (ATO)?

An organisation wishing to become a PeopleCert Lean IT ATO must either submit an application form to the PeopleCert Accreditation team or contact the International Business Development team.
