George Giannetsos is Chief Financial Officer of PeopleCert, reporting to Chairman and CEO, Byron Nicolaides. George is responsible for the Finance Strategy of PeopleCert, including the operations of Accounting & Tax, Treasury & Collections and Budgeting & Reporting. George has more than 20 years’ experience in senior finance positions, mainly in the technology and telecommunications sectors. 

George joined PeopleCert in 2015 from Hellas Online, a leading telecoms operator in Greece where he served as Chief Financial Officer for 6 years and led the Finance strategy in a period of high growth in a very challenging sector. In 2014 Hellas Online was acquired by Vodafone Greece in a very successful cash deal despite a challenging macroeconomic environment.

George holds an MBA from the Business School of Henley in the UK and a BA in Economics from the University of Athens.
