LanguageCert Test of English (LTE)

The next generation of English language assessment

LanguageCert Test of English (LTE) assesses the candidates' English language level in Reading, Listening and Writing. LTE qualifications can be used to prove general English language knowledge as well as for more specific purposes in the workplace and in education.

LanguageCert Test of English (LTE) consists of 3 modules assessing Listening, Reading & Writing skills:

  • A1-B1 Listening & Reading

    Assesses Listening and Reading skills, as well as command of English grammar and vocabulary.

    All candidates take the same test regardless of language proficiency and receive a certificate placing them at levels A1 to B1 of the CEFR based on their performance.

  • A1-C2 Listening & Reading

    Assesses Listening and Reading skills, as well as command of English grammar and vocabulary.

    All candidates take the same test regardless of language proficiency and receive a certificate placing them at levels A1 to C2 of the CEFR based on their performance.

  • A1-C2 Writing

    Assesses Writing skills, as well as command of English grammar and vocabulary.

    All candidates take the same test regardless of language proficiency and receive a certificate placing them at levels A1 to C2 of the CEFR based on their performance.

LanguageCert Test of English (LTE) can be taken as a paper-based or computer-based classroom exam via accredited Test Centres or as an Online exam with remote, live invigilation.
