Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) is the go-to international programme management certification methodology, enabling project managers across the world to take the next step forward in their career.
MSP’s established programme management framework guides candidates towards aligning a programme with new corporate strategies.

MSP Qualification Scheme - Get Certified with MSP
- Foundation level
The MSP Foundation certification introduces the Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) method and terminology. The purpose of the Foundation certification is to determine whether candidates are familiar enough with the MSP guidance and principles to be able to perform effectively as part of a team involved in the management of a programme or act as an informed member of a Programme Office (PO), business change team or project delivery team working within an MSP supporting-environment.
- Practitioner level
The MSP Practitioner certification is aimed at project managers, business change managers (BCMs) and those working within a Programme Office (PO) or professionals working in a specialist or governance position within an organisation. This level demonstrates a candidate’s ability to understand and apply MSP principles, governance themes and transformational flow processes when managing a programme. This level is a prerequisite for those who wish to progress to the MSP Advanced Practitioner certification.
- Advanced Practitioner level
The MSP Advanced Practitioner certification represents the next step forward for Programme Managers who wish to expand their professional horizons even further. It is primarily targeted towards those candidates who aspire to apply MSP principles across complex frameworks to generate successful change management.
